The Magic of Mexico

Next year’s holidays are already beckoning, and the hunt is on for the new perfect location to soothe and invigorate the tired soul. Thinking about what it is you want from a holiday, and whether you will still want it when the time comes around is a choice that’s hard to settle on. Maybe you fancy a beach holiday where you can relax on the sand and think or do nothing else, but next year you may have decided that you want to do something completely different. Perhaps you’ll decide that you want to go mountain climbing for example, or maybe you will want to unearth some magnificent gems from history - who knows what a year will bring! Choosing a destination that is as versatile as it is intriguing will most likely have you booking a holiday in Mexico 2013.

Mexico is an amazing country, where no two places are the same. Travelling to a beach destination will have you stretched out on the white sands and gazing up into the cloudless blue sky. The tree lined streets bustle with a festival atmosphere and the restaurants and bars on each corner welcome you in for a taste of true Mexican cuisine. Travelling further inland, you will be surrounded by thick steamy jungles and steep rocky cliffs which house ancient city ruins from tribes long since lost. There are plenty of tours that you can take which will explain more about these fascinating and mysterious tribes. If you book through Thomas Cook vacations or any of the other major travel agents, the reps will help you to book these trips and explain further about what to expect during your introduction talk.

Mexico is certainly a magical country that will lift your spirits. As much as you can enjoy some beachside downtime, you can, in equal measures, expect to be carried into a whirlwind of colourful festivities and intriguing beliefs which are not to be missed.

  5. Mexico City, the proud capital is landlocked almost in the middle of Mexico. If you go in either direction- east or west, you can find the warm coastline.
